Vicious

Helbent on healing this inherent wound of human kind.

Everything’s gone green yet by our hands, the environment’s still dying.

Kids learn to take cover in classrooms.

The money trickles up, the people go hungry, then we send in a platoon

To tear them down again and again and again.

The American Cartel: In a cycle so vicious, where do we begin?

A hungry man with a cardboard sign in front of a bank.

Passersby barely blink at him, but he still gives thanks.

Bank employees speed off

To their warm homes at 5 o’clock

While this man stands alone.

Both cold to the fucking bone.

More vicious than love, apathy.
